Ultimate Family Play Date & Concert

Celebrate the holiday season at this free family event! There will be three interactive activity zones from 9 a.m. - noon for kids and teens ages 0-18, a mini golf course, face painting, balloon animals, music performances, food vendors, a mimosa garden for the adults and more. A family-friendly concert performed by the band Smashed will perform from noon-1:30 p.m. Learn more.

Looking for ways to be digitally creative? This one-session workshop on PowerPoint will teach you the basics and give you time to create festive digital invites with no mess or added expense!

Coming Up Close to Homelessness

Cultural anthropologist Cathy Small and Ross Moore, a veteran experiencing homelessness, share their touching story that led to a co-authored book. Explore how public perceptions affect those experiencing homelessness while encouraging a message of empathy and connection.

Hometown Happy Hour: Thunderbird Fields

Through photos and stories presented by community historian, Joan Fudala, learn how a bit of Hollywood glamour and gumption helped thousands of U.S. and allied military pilots earn their wings in Scottsdale, Mesa, Phoenix and Glendale from 1941-1945, making up the four 'Thunderbird Fields'.

Holiday Closures
