Programs for Everyone
Before you set out on your adventure on the 500-mile Camino de Santiago Walk, get acquainted with the history, landscape and what it’s like to be a Camino pilgrim. Plan for a rewarding trip by getting packing and eqiupment suggestions.
 
Cave Creek resident Tessie Agana, once a beloved child actress from the Philippines and known as the “Shirley Temple of the Philippines,” is intimately portrayed by her daughter, author Mylene Richardson. This candid portrayal reveals how Tessie’s early fame and public scrutiny cast long-lasting shadows over her life. 
 
Ring in the Lunar New Year at the library. Celebrate the Spring Festival, bringing forth good luck for the upcoming year in the Asian cultures of the world!
 

Meet other teens and read what they are reading during our Teen Book Clubs! 

 

Teen Manga Book Club

(ages 12-18) Join us for Arabian’s new Manga Book Club! This month, we'll be reading the first volume of Frieren and discussing what we liked and didn't like about it.

Teen Book Club

(ages 13-18) Join us for a lively discussion on book titles selected by teens within a variety of genres.

5 p.m. Monday, Jan. 27, at Mustang Library

Support The Friends of the Scottsdale Public Library with a pledge through the 2025 WM Phoenix Open Birdies For Charity program! The Friends are partnering with Thunderbirds Charities for the fifth consecutive year with a goal to raise $1,000 through the program in 2025. Pledge a set amount for every birdie scored at the WM Phoenix Open and the Friends will receive a 10% matching bonus from Thunderbird Charities once $500 in donations are reached. A fixed amount can also be pledged. Donations must be received by Sunday, Feb. 9. Select “Friends of Scottsdale Public Library” when prompted for your charity.
