July 2025

There’s still plenty of time to immerse yourself in a summer full of color, creativity, and adventure with the library’s annual Summer Reading Challenge! We’re halfway through, and it’s the perfect moment to keep up the momentum or jump in if you haven’t started yet.

The challenge is open to all ages, with a goal of reaching at least 1,000 points by the end of summer. Earn points by reading, attending library programs, completing activity challenges and entering secret codes. Along the way, you’ll unlock fun prizes — including a free book when you finish! The last day to register and log points is Aug. 1.

Special thanks to The Friends of Scottsdale Library and Maricopa County Library District for their support of the challenge.

Sign up for the challenge and rally your friends and family to join you! Enter the secret code “okeefe” to get some extra points.
